Key Steps in JANA's process

The key steps in the process when JANA Engineering’s Business Development team receives a customer request (RFP/RFQ) for an upgrade solution are:

  1. Detailed Analysis: Thoroughly assess the customer’s technical and operational needs.
  2. System Selection: Choose suitable systems that meet these needs and confirm the selection with the customer’s engineering teams.
  3. Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and pricing for Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and Installation Kits through JANA Engineering.
  4. Initial Proposal: Present an initial Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) proposal that includes technical and commercial details, such as equipment pricing, NRE and STC production.
  5. Customer Meetings: Conduct discussions to re-confirm the scope of JANA Engineering’s offer and the schedule of deliverables, and to understand the customer’s desired installation program.
  6. Final Proposal: Issue a firm, final proposal for the customer’s acceptance before proceeding with a Purchase Order (PO) or contract.

The goal is to achieve customer satisfaction and readiness to proceed with a PO or contract, guaranteeing a successful partnership and project outcome.
